On the way into town you pass the Noviate of the Immaculate Heart, which is no longer a convent in the traditional sense, but rather a nursing home for elderly nuns. I guess the nuns I see at Bashas are the spry ones who care for the elderly ones, but they're definitely not as spry as those you saw jogging!
