There was some confusion with Buddy Guy at his name, and I went with Matthew. I've revised the blog to admit I don't know jack! :-)

If you find out, let me know!Lori Stewart Weiderthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04601450336245218356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15244825.post-9592553572593181502009-03-02T10:32:00.000-06:002009-03-02T10:32:00.000-06:00I was at the BG show (and it was great), but I rec...I was at the BG show (and it was great), but I recall that the young kid was a right handed guitarist. In fact, no less than 20 minutes ago I was on the phone with my mother, who returned to IL last week after a long (years) hiatus and told me about how she had dinner at a fabulous tapas bar in Downtown Bloomington (who would have thunk it?). She was downright giddy as she told me how she offered to pick up the tab at this wonderful, fancy restaurant for her friend who was putting her up with a place to stay. Turns out three giant tapas (she particularly enjoyed the seared tuna with homemade potato chips) and wine cost her and her friend a whopping $36 total. THIRTY-SIX DOLLARS. I know, having been a CUrbanite for so many years, that the cost of living there is insanely low, but dang, that still caught me off guard! Now that I'm back on the east coast and in the city-life I so adore, I can't get out of place for $36 even if I'm just having a drink!

Anyhoo, awesome night it sounds like. :)Ms. Maladjustedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05054025031590278027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15244825.post-48492149567047910712009-03-01T13:38:00.000-06:002009-03-01T13:38:00.000-06:00Looks like a great night out!!Looks like a great night out!!Fightin' Mad Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11663808667724150336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15244825.post-50981279828724341032009-03-01T13:27:00.000-06:002009-03-01T13:27:00.000-06:001. Can I please be as organized and time managed as you when I grow up?

2. YAY for kitchen tile you actually like (and I can only imagine what it took to fess up so yay for you for doing it!)

3. When you get your butt out this way (whenever that is but seriously...it's gonna happen) I've got a couple places to take you for good ol' Southern cookin'. Trust me, honey. I may claim Boston but my roots are actually Southern to the core.

4. Remind me to tell you my Buddy Guy story. Love the bbq place you went to - very fitting.
And hey, Clint should give you bonus points for recognizing the tile wasn't right PRIOR to installing it. It's easy to return things that haven't been installed yet. :-)Dannihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12623233206043947281noreply@blogger.com
