Jamaica, Mon: Streets through the Window

Clint and I returned late Monday night from a vacation in Jamaica with 10 of our besties, and I've been playing with the photos I brought back. A beautiful photo takes itself in Jamaica: Point your camera toward the trees and water and snap!

I am more drawn to the photos behind the palm trees. As we didn't opt for a lot of street time on our vacation—Red Stripe and beaches called our names, you see—most of my "off the beaten path" photos were taken through the bus window. There's a lot of reflection, many are blurry, and none are particularly spectacular.

I've deleted dozens, and have been manipulating the rest in Photoshop to make them look a little more interesting. Converting to black and white cut back a lot of glare and salvaged what were terrible color photos, and others were saved by oversaturating. They are as good as they're going to get, and I'm going to share the first batch with you.

Here they are, a few of my beautiful photos of beautiful Jamaican people. More to come as I fix them up.
