I'm only two posts in, so far, folks, but I finally did it: I started a blog about my mother's Alzheimer's, and all of the "fun" that comes with caring for her. Point your blog readers to

ReplyDeletelori, my memories with aunt elenor go way back before you girls were even born, my most favorite one is when uncle lee was in the navy stationed in chicago, he and aunt elenor, at her insistance took me,ME!, home with then for a couple of weeks. when uncle lee was at work she had neverending entertainment for just the two of us. my most favorite, she would sit with me on the floor and play barbie and paper dols with me. even after they brought me home, she would still come and get me every so often and take me to her family home and we would spend the day visiting with her mom. and then many years later when i had a heart attack and woke up in intensive care, to see her and teri there in my room. i mumbleded something about thank you for coming and she said, "were else would we be." i have a deep love and respect for her and will forever. and about a thousand more memories that could be a book.
