I came across these little girls a few months ago, waiting for their turn on stage at The Virginia Theater. I've nothing else to say, really; I just wanted to move off of the blister post.

Your welcome.

  1. Whew. Cute little girls in pink. Much more pleasing to the eye than a huge army foot blister! (I hope the blister recovery is going well!)

  2. Nice picture:) THis reminds me of the family photo we have back home...where ( Dad being the avid photographer ) decided to colour only himself..and leave the rest of us in plain ole black and white. For penance...he had to erase all of mum's neck lines and crows feet.Gosh..digital pictures are so handy. ( BTW the pink tutus are just adorable )

  3. Cute. Looks like the girls are from The Land of Oz, and everyone else is from Kansas.

  4. Wendy: What, the blister wasn't cute?!

Dick: Photoshop Lesson: Make 2 layers, convert one to black and white; put the duplicate color image on top and erase everything you don't want; the b&w shows thru from the bottom. Then flatten the image and voila!

Edina: Your dad is hilarious. Sounds like you Mom has him under control.

Larry: Kansas, Illinois, it's all the same.

  8. Always is nice to see some of the stuff you create.

It seems like I just checked and there was nothing new, but then again, my mind has been busy lately

Hi Laura- I'm not really anonymous; I simply don't have a blogger account. This is Rob (aka: IlliniScientist), with whom you briefly chatted some time ago. I enjoy reading your blog from time to time. You have quite a unique outlook on a few things, take great pictures, and of course are a wonderfully talented writer. I had to comment on this picture because it really is an attention grabber. How did you get everything except the dresses to be black-and-white? Very cool! -Rob

  10. Twist: I don't know how (yet) to use that filter/extract tool with any exactness. Tips? E-mail me!

Betty: Brian's having fun, hanging with friends, mostly. Monday we go see great-grandma!

Andy: I'll try to do some traveling to east and west coast ASAP.

Barry: Love it when your mind's busy: More blogs for the rest of us.

Hey Rob, nice to hear from you. Thanks for the compliments. Toyed with photoshop layers for this one; always fun!
