They're baaaa-ack

Those little devil japanese beetles are back in full force, ticking off of our windshields, crawling into our windows, getting caught in our hair. Look what they're doing to my tree:

They are everywhere. No offense to God or anything, but he could have at least made them edible.

Then my Beetle Bounty would be a wonderful gift, just imagine it! I would pick buckets of them off the tree, and cook them into a delicious syrup and serve them on angel food cake.

Dare you to come over for dessert.

  1. Think GOURMET!

    Cover them in chocolate!

Actually, in the far east, they do eat them and the ones covered in chocolate are considered a treat.

I mean, what lady could resist a box of them? Way to a girl's heart.

    Wil's right though.

Why don't you go ahead and try that...then report back to the rest of us!

    "After you!"
    "No, no, after you!"
"Oh please, I couldn't eat another bite."

  6. Wil: Brilliant! I wonder how well they keep; I'm thinking holiday boxes at Christmas...

Tai: Is that a double-dog dare? BECAUSE I'LL DO IT, I SWEAR I WILL!

Mary: Beatle lollipops..mmm.... Hey, I could also make decorative soaps out of them!

Awe: It happens that I could use a bit of extra money. Where was this place, again?

  7. Ilaiy: Also brilliant! We'll market them as "popcorn beatles" and toss in honey mustard or BBQ sauce.

  9. Sounds good to me .. Might be a little cruncy .. Now that I have tried a turtle would not take too much of effort to try them ..

When I think how many people died when they tried different kinds of food ..

  11. DNA: Beatles would be a treat compared to the stuff they serve up on Fear Factor!

Ilaiy: If tagging turtle meat to your lip then spitting it out constitutes "trying" it, then I guess I'll have to give you that one. You have to pop the beatles like aspirin though. Down the hatch!

BPobs: I'm shocked, I was sure you'd eat beatlejuice with me!
