Teri Pittman: 1964-2009

Teri Pittman
October 6, 1964-September 4, 2009

My sister, Teri Pittman, was surrounded by loving family when she lost her battle to cancer yesterday afternoon at 3:30.

I have few words at this time that make any sense. Please keep us in your prayers.

Much love.

  6. Lori,

I honestly and truly had no idea you & Teri were sisters. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a really nice lady.

We just got the news at our house yesterday through the church prayer chain.

TallBoy & I go to church with Teri's family. TallBoy & I were discussing how to support Teri's son (TallBoy's buddy) because as hard as it is to deal with at 15, that is what you DO for friends.

We are thinking of T, D, B & the rest of Teri's family at this very tough time.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences.

I don't know you, probably never will...but you've hit a chord of emotion this many months I've followed your blog. Cancer touches everyone and my heart breaks for you and your family.

You, your sister and your family have made quite an impact and the world thanks you.

  27. Dear Lori,

My thoughts and prayers, as well as those of my family, are with you and yours. Any words I would have are insufficient, so I'll have to trust that the love that surrounds you will sustain you. Know that you're held close by many.

    Fondly,
    Crow Mother (Pobble's Sister)

  31. My sincere condolences..sending many hugs from NYC. I'm so sorry for your loss. My mother used this quote as she lost the battle to the same disease. My heart goes out to you.

Though nothing can bring back the hour
    Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
    Strength in what remains behind...

    God Bless Lori.
