Gooseses

These babies were walking down my street this evening. This is 1 of 3 families in their single-file line; 3 goosey couples, and 30 or more goosey babies.

Do you think some day bloggers will be equivalent with literary authors? I read your blogs with as much interest as I read Barbara Kingsolver and Terry Tempest Williams. I dream you will be equally compensated for your talent as other authors and artists. Surely you give your readers and fans the same as any pulitzer prize author. You record the most simple and magical of experiences...gooseys crossing your street. You are magic. Thank you.

I'd like some of your rain in Tucson. I don't even remember the last time it rained here.

  7. Where is my shotgun? OK, I think baby critters are cute but we are absolutely over run with those damn things here in NY. They are literally everywhere. Any grassy surface you find is literally cvovered with goose crap. You can't walk down the street without stepping in it. Damned Canadian Geese. Blame Canada!

    And everyone else, thanks.

And SS, we have plenty of rain to go around; it threatens to spoil my mother's day cookout. Come 'n get it!

Andy, you tyrant! Christmas dinner out of my goosey babies! How could you! Ok, that goose poo can make quite a mess of things; I'm glad they don't frequent my driveway.

  15. Sorry about the delete. I was posting elsewhere and had the wrong comment on the wrong blog! I guess a blonde moment! Yeah a nice pic, but when they are all over a lotta goose-poop!

  16. Barry: ya ditzy thang. Goose-poo = bad. PLUS those geese HISS at you, and make you quicken your step.
