  1. Now, Princess, we all know that *everyday* is talk like a trollop day for you!

  2. True, a pirate-tease is hard to come by; but trollop-tease's are a dime-a-dozen.

    I myself am a trollop.

    Psych! No I'm not!

  3. and it's also the third night in a row that I've read "Pirates: Pop-Up Big Book." Not such a great book for kids, but Jack loves it. There's a whole spread about pirate punishments: walk the plank, hanging in the gibbet, flogging with a cat-o'-nine tails. Jack was just starting to speak when we first got this book. After reading that page with him for the first time, he said to me, "Mommy, you like cat-o'-nine tails?" Not really, son. Not really.

  4. Woooohoo, talk like a pirate day! Yo ho ho and bottle of rum...that I can legally buy at eighteen in Canada. Sorry to hear about that stupid grocery store thing. Anyway, as for talk like an animal day, sounds like fun! I call giraffe! Because no one is quite sure what noise they make. I think it's "HWAH!"

  6. Shy_smiley: I think my son had that book; or another like it, when he was yittle. Is there a disgusing toilet illustration also?

Kat: Ow, I'm currently treating a sore throat. Making that giraffe sound did nothing for it!

    Jennie: Rover wants a cracker!
