Forked: Revenge!

Remember last month, when friends (and newlyweds) Lori & Jim...

(Pic for all of our buds that didn't make it to the wedding)

...got their yard forked?

Well, I just found out this morning that Lori and Jim are partners in more than just matrimony: They are Partners in Revenge!

The two of them have been plotting their retaliation for weeks now, lying in wait, for a perfect "combination of right-sized cardboard and good weather."

Those Forkers didn't know who they were messing with. At 2:30 in the a.m., Bonnie and Clyde Lori and Jim donned their black ninja outfits, tiptoed out into the cold, damp air, and erected, as Jim said, "15-feet of engineering brilliance and a whole lot of tin foil."

Take THAT!

My guess is that this is not over; war has been waged!

Heh, heh, hehhhh. I can hardly wait to see what happens next.

Grab a tuning fork, and stay tuned.

Woohoo..that's one masterpiece by Jim and Lori( well, almost) :)

I like the idea of the newly weds tiptoeing in their ninja suits so early in the morn to carry out a secret mission. There's much more than just honeymooning, nice! ;-)

  2. Ok, seriously...either I'm going blind or you need to make your pictures BIGGER :-)...
And I'm assuming - from your commentary - that those are plastic forks sticking out of the ground? And that their retaliation was a fork structure in somebody's yard? Whose yard? Yours? Or everybody who was in on the forking?

And the burning question on probably on everyone's mind: Is it safe to call you a forker now, Lori??!

  3. Those ARE plastic forks sticking out of the ground, yes.

They retaliated by putting a large fork in the other forkers' yard.

I'm only writing about this; I am staying out of it!

  4. I am Jim of Jim and Lori (not blogging Lori but the other Lori, the married one).

To farmgirl_dk - I am responsible for some of the picture sizes because due to the covert nature of these actions, some pics are via camera phone.

A big Thank You to gnightgirl for documenting our escapades.

  5. That is some crazy forking stuff....and I thought I'd seen it all here in NYC...what's better though, one BIG fork you, or one GIANT fork you? I need to know these things for my own covert operations LOL

  6. From what I remember of NYC, forking someone there would be quite interesting...I'm picturing flowerpots and windowboxes filled with forks...I didn't see a lot of sprawling lawns there....
