I Voted: Part I

I voted with a coat this morning.

Yeah. That's my guy. I'll vote for him tomorrow, too. (And yes, I know I'm looking sleepy. I hadn't had my free coffee yet!)

Look how honored he is, to get his photo taken with me. You can see it in his face.

Free coffee, free cinnamon-crisp bagel, and a photo-op with Uncle Sam.

This is the best start to a Monday morning I've had in ages!

  1. Way to go. Nice coat. You will be keeping someone warm this winter. And great photo with uncle sam. As for the other one, what can I say. I think you are a wonderful person and no matter what happens tomorrow if this is our one difference I still think you are a great person. I know from what I have read, you rock. Lets hope everyone has this attitude tomorrow after the election.

  3. YAY you!

I am reminded of a story (surprised aren't you?)...

My parents had an opportunity to meet Bill Clinton and there was the requisite photo op. At my father's funeral services, we lined a room with pictures of him, including the one where he is shaking Bill Clinton's hand. A dear friend looked at the picture and said "well, good. I'm glad Bill got to meet Rex before he died."

So you're damn straight Obama's honored to be there. rofl

  10. You rock girl! Saturday as I was standing outside the cardiac unit at the hospital, a nurse was walking up and looked so much like you I almost asked her if I could take her picture. And then I thought, "How perfect that someone who looks like GnightGirl is a nurse." It seemed appropriate. And go Obama!
