I was not one to buy into the fried sweets fad much, wasn't impressed with the fried twinkies or candy bars (which of course, the ex just had to have). I did, however, try these fried oreos at the famous Pittsburgh amusement park a couple years ago and was instantly in love. The heat from the oil basically reduces the cookies back to chocolate dough status, a lot like licking the brownie batter from the bowl, but with the goodness of the warmth of the fresh baked cookie.
Mmm... looks decadent. The only thing it needs is caramel sauce to dip it in.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe some ice cream.
And some whipped cream.
And then a bypass operation.
Enjoy your vacation! You deserve it!
Bleugh. That looks rank. Over here people eat deep fried Mars bars too. Some call it tasty. I call it a heart attack in a wrapper.
ReplyDeleteThere is more than one reason why "Sin City" is called "Sin City". LOL

Imagine how good it could be with a squirt of easy cheese on top!
