I'm thinking about you and your little Thundercat. Not so little anymore. Capable of making his own decisions.I come from a military family, ya know, so I might see this in a different light. It might be OK.
Perhaps it will give him needed direction and discipline. I'll say a little prayer for you both.
Well, yes I'm in a much better state of mind after having a good nights' sleep. It just "came on" so suddenly: Mom, what do you think?... and 2 days later, "I'm being sworn in Saturday."Oh, I was hoping for some weeks to adjust to the idea.Big changes for him. And for me.Change is good, yes?
Oh my, but you know he had been thinking about it for some time. But he didn't give you any time to talk him out of it! I hope it's for the best.RS
Oh,Dear Lisa! Life is full of change and forever challenging us! Such short notice for a loving Mother to try and prepare herself for the separation of her #1 Son! It can't and won't be easy. My heart goes out to you. But,I am sure your son, now a young man, came to this decision after much deliberation. Altho this is a difficult time to be in the service..it will give him direction, discipline and an education. You and Brian will be in our prayers. God bless both of you! Be good to yourself, this weekend...I'll be thinking of you.
I can't believe I called you, Lisa! I still have the "CJ" story in my head! Or maybe, I am having a "Senior" moment!Sorry, Lori! Many blessings!Maria
I never even noticed! CJ's been in hiding, I'll keep you posted on him too.
